Intro

The Cvent Supplier Network is a comprehensive online platform designed to streamline the process of sourcing venues and suppliers for meetings and events, connecting event planners with a global database of hotels, unique venues, and other event-related service providers. Using Cvent Supplier Network Connector, you can fetch information on digital advertising campaigns. You can connect to your Cvent Supplier Network - Planners account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the Cvent Supplier Network - Planners connector user interface. Prerequisites

To connect to your Cvent Supplier Network - Planners account and create a DataSet, you need the following:
  • Select the region for your Cvent instance.
  • Client ID and Client ID from your Cvent app

Connecting to Your Cvent Supplier Network - Planners Account

This section enumerates the options in the Credentials and Details panes on the Cvent Supplier Network - Planners Connector page. The components of the other panes on this page, Scheduling, and Name & Describe Your DataSet, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in great detail in Adding a DataSet Using a Connector.

Credentials Pane

This pane contains fields for entering credentials to connect to your Cvent Supplier Network - Planners account. The following table describes what is needed for each field:

Description

Account Name Choose a name for your Cvent Account.
Region Select the region for your Cvent instance.
Client ID Enter the Client ID from your Cvent app.
Client Secret Enter the Client Secret from your Cvent app.
Once you have entered valid Cvent Supplier Network - Planners credentials, you can use the same account at any time to create a new Cvent Supplier Network - Planners DataSet. You can manage connector accounts in the Accounts tab in the Data Center. For more information about this tab, see Manage Connector Accounts.

Details Pane

This section contains a primary reports menu, along with various other menus, when may or may not appear based on the report type you select.
Menu Description
Report

Select the Cvent Supplier Network - Planners report you want to run. The following reports are available:

Report Name Description

Contract Award Allocation

Returns all the Contract Award Allocation details associated with the RFP.

Contract Details

Returns the Contract Details associated with the RFP.

Event History

Returns the Event History details.

List Suppliers

Returns all the suppliers details associated with the RFP.

Message Lists

Returns the message lists.

RFP Details

Returns the RFP Details.

RFP Recipients

Returns the RFP recipients details.

RFP Response List

Returns the RFP response list.
Date filter selection

You can filter the report based on the following dates:

  • Response Due Date
  • Decision Date
  • Awarded Date
  • Event Start Date
RPF Date Filter Specify whether the data in this report is for a single date or a range of dates.
RPF Date Filter - Single Date - Days Back Choose which day you would like to receive the data for by entering a number relative to today. For example, enter 0 for today, 1 for yesterday, or 7 for 7 days ago.
RPF Date Filter - Date Range -Start Date - Days Back Choose which day you would like to start receiving the data for by entering a number relative to today. For example, enter 1 for a start date of yesterday, 7 for a start date of 1 week ago, and 30 for a start date of 1 month ago.
RPF Date Filter - Date Range - End Date- Days Back Choose which day you would like to stop receiving data for by entering a number relative to today. For example, enter 0 for an end date of today, or 1 for an end date of yesterday.
RPF Date Filter - Time Period Choose the time period for which you would like to receive the data.
Sublist To Flatten Select the sublists to flatten the data.
