Intro

SmartDB is a no-code/low-code development platform equipped with workflow and web database functionalities. In Domo, you can connect to the SmartDB API and retrieve data from any binder view on SmartDB. You connect to your SmartDB account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the Xero connector user interface. General information for adding DataSets, setting update schedules, and editing DataSet information is discussed in DataSet Using a Data Connector.

Prerequisites

To create a DataSet by connecting to a SmartDB account, a binder token is required. For information on how to obtain the binder token, please refer to the SmartDB website.

Connecting to Your SmartDB Account

This section enumerates the options in the Credentials and Details panes in the SmartDB Connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, Scheduling and Name & Describe Your DataSet, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in greater length in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.

Credentials Pane

The Domo Xero connector uses OAuth to connect, so there is no need to enter credentials within Domo. Click Connect (or select Add Account if you have existing Xero accounts in Domo) to open the Xero OAuth screen where you can enter your Xero credentials. Once you have entered valid Xero credentials, you can use the same account any time you go to create a new Xero DataSet. You can manage connector accounts in the Accounts tab in the Data Center. For more information about this tab, see Manage Connector Accounts.
Field Description
Domain Enter the subdomain of your SmartDB account.

For information about obtaining these credentials, see Prerequisites above. Once you have entered valid Spotify credentials, you can use the same account any time you go to create a new SmartDB DataSet. You can manage connector accounts in the Accounts tab in the Data Center. For more information about this tab, see Manage Connector Accounts.
