Intro

Simply Measured gives you in-depth measurement across your owned, earned, and paid social media. Use Domo’s Simply Measured connector to retrieve a Simply Measured report from a specified collection. To learn more about the Simply Measured API, you can download their guide at https://get.simplymeasured.com/2016-…v5suwowvha9vlk. You connect to your Simply Measured account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the Simply Measured connector user interface. General information for adding DataSets, setting update schedules, and editing DataSet information is discussed in Adding a DataSet Using a Connector.

Prerequisites

To connect to your Simply Measured account and create a DataSet, you must have the following:
  • Account ID
  • Refresh Token

Connecting to Your Simply Measured Account

This section enumerates the options in the Credentials and Details panes in the Simply Measured Connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, Scheduling and Name & Describe Your DataSet, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in greater length in Adding a DataSet Using a Connector.

Credentials Pane

This pane contains fields for entering credentials to connect to your Simply Measured account. The following table describes what is needed for each field:

Description

Account ID Enter the account’s account Id.
Refresh Token Enter the account’s refresh token.
Once you have entered valid Simply Measured credentials, you can use the same account any time you go to create a new Simply Measured DataSet. You can manage connector accounts in the Accounts tab in the Data Center. For more information about this tab, see Manage Connector/Adapter Accounts.

Details Pane

This pane contains menus from which you can select your Simply Measured collection and report.

Accounts

Returns a list of accounts for which you have access.

Data Sources

Returns a list of data sources for which you have access.

Posts

Returns a list of posts for a given Account ID.

Post Metrics

Returns a summarized post metrics for a given Account ID.

Profiles

Returns a list of profiles for a given Account ID.

Profiles Metrics

Returns a list of metrics for a given profile. The most common use is to find audience over time.

Sessions Metrics

Returns a list of website session metrics for a given account id. This data is provided for customers who have the Simply Measured attribution product enabled.

Topic

Returns the details of a single topic.

Topic Auto Labels

Returns the auto-label details of a topic.
Account Id Select an account for which you would like to retrieve the data.
Post Fields Select one or more fields for which you would like to retrieve data.
Post Metrics Select one or more metrics for which you would like to retrieve the data.
Profile Fields Select one or more fields for which you would like to retrieve the data.
Profile Metrics Select one or more metrics for which you would like to retrieve the data.
Session Metrics Select one or more metrics for which you would like to retrieve the data.
Topics Select a topic for which you would like to retrieve the data.
Duration Select the duration for the report (a Single Date, or a Date Range).
Report Date Select the report date using relative or specific dates. Relative indicates the number of days from today or a specific date using the date selector.
Select Specific Date elect the report date using the date selector.
Days back The number of days back for which you would like to get the data for. Specify either today or 0, yesterday or 1, or today-7 or 7 to get data for 7 days into the past.
Start Date Select the report start date using relative or specific dates. Relative indicates the number of days from today or a specific date using the date selector.
Select Specific Start Date Select the report date using the date selector.
Days back to start from The number of days back for which you would like to get the data from (start day). Specify either today or 0, yesterday or 1, or today-7 or 7 to get data for 7 days into the past.
End Date Select the report end date using relative or specific dates. Relative indicates the number of days from today or a specific date using the date selector.
Select Specific End Date Select the report date using the date selector.
Days back to end at The number of days back for which you would like to get the data to (end day). Specify either today or 0, yesterday or 1, or today-7 or 7 to get data for 7 days into the past.
