Intro
Microsoft SQL Server Writeback Connector is a relational database management system developed by Microsoft. Use this connector to export your data from a Domo DataSet to a Microsoft SQL Server database. For more information about the Microsoft SQL Server API, visit their website. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the MS SQL Database Writeback connector user interface. To configure this connector, you will need the following:- A Domo Client ID and Client Secret. To obtain these credentials, do the following:
- Your MS SQL database or schema name.
- The hostname or IP address of your MS SQL database server, such as db.mycompany.com.
- Your MS SQL Database server port number.
- Your MS SQL username and password.
- The port number for your MS SQL server.
Configuring the Connection

This pane contains fields for entering credentials to connect to your Domo developer account as well as the table in your MS SQL database where you want your data to be copied. The following table describes what is needed for each field:Field | Description |

You can find the ID by opening the details view for the DataSet in the Data Center and looking at the portion of the URL following datasources/ . Custom Table Name | Enter the name of the table in your MS SQL database where you want your DataSet data to be copied. |
SQL Data type for String Values | Select an SQL data type for the string values. |
SQL Data type for Integer Values | Select an SQL data type for the integer values. |
String Size | Select whether to use the MAX size for STRING types (VARCHAR/NVARCHAR) or provide a Custom size |
