Intro

Microsoft SharePoint Online enables an organization to create and manage custom team-focused and project-focused sites for collaboration. Use Domo’s Microsoft SharePoint Online Rest Connector to get data from an organization-wide intranet portal in different aspects based on their sites within Domo. You can connect to your Microsoft SharePoint Online Rest Enterprise OAuth account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the Microsoft SharePoint Online Rest Enterprise OAuth connector user interface. To add DataSets, set update schedules, and edit DataSet information, see Adding a DataSet Using a Connector.

Prerequisites

To connect to your Microsoft SharePoint Online Rest Enterprise OAuth account and create a DataSet, you must select the OAuth Configuration.

Connecting to Your Microsoft SharePoint Online Rest Enterprise OAuth Account

This section enumerates the options in the Credentials and Details panes on the Microsoft SharePoint Online Rest Enterprise OAuth Connector page. The components of the other panes on this page, Scheduling, and Name & Describe Your DataSet, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in great detail in Adding a DataSet Using a Connector.

Credentials Pane

Note: To use an OAuth Configuration, the owner of the configuration must share it with you. If you are unable to see the OAuth Configuration that you are expecting, then contact your Administrator. This pane contains fields for entering credentials to connect to your Microsoft SharePoint Online Rest Enterprise OAuth account. The following table describes what is needed for each field:

Field

Description

OAuth Configuration

OAuth Configurations have service credentials stored by your administrator that automatically log you in so that you only need your personal OAuth login. Your administrator may create and edit configurations in the Data Center, in the Accounts tab.

Note: For more information on adding, updating, or sharing an OAuth Configuration, refer to Adding a Microsoft Sharepoint Online Rest OAuth Config .

Once you have entered valid Microsoft SharePoint Online Rest Enterprise OAuth credentials, you can use the same account at any time to create a new Microsoft SharePoint Online Rest Enterprise OAuth DataSet. You can manage connector accounts in the Accounts tab in the Data Center. For more information about this tab, see Manage Connector/Adapter Accounts.
