Intro

Rent Manager is property management software that combines financials, marketing tools, reporting and full work order and property management tools into one platform. To learn more about the Rent Manager API, visit their page (https://www.rentmanager.com/products…ancements/api/ ). You connect to your Rent Manager account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the Rent Manager connector user interface. General information for adding DataSets, setting update schedules, and editing DataSet information is discussed in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.

Prerequisites

To connect to your Rent Manager account and create a DataSet, you must have the following:
  • A Rent Manager username and password
  • Your Rent Manager domain
You can find your Rent Manager domain by looking at the portion of your Rent Manager URL right after https://. For example, if the URL was https://mycompany.rentmanager.com, the domain would be mycompany.

Connecting to Your Rent Manager Account

This section enumerates the options in the Credentials and Details panes in the Rent Manager Connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, Scheduling and Name & Describe Your DataSet, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in greater length in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.

This pane contains fields for entering credentials to connect to your Rent Manager account. The following table describes what is needed for each field:
