Intro

LYNX Fleet is an application that intelligently monitors connected Lynx Fleet vehicles. Domo’s Lynx Fleet connector allows you to check the status of all Carrier Lynx Fleet-connected vehicles in one place. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the LYNX Fleet Connector user interface. General information for adding DataSets, setting update schedules, and editing DataSet information is discussed in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.

Prerequisites

To connect to your LYNX Fleet account and create a DataSet, you must have the following:
  • Client ID
  • Client Secret
  • OCP APIM Subscription Key

Connecting to Your LYNX Fleet Account

This section enumerates the options in the Credentials and Details panes in the LYNX Fleet Connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, Scheduling and Name & Describe Your DataSet, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in greater length in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.

Credentials Pane

This pane contains fields for entering credentials to connect to your Domo developer account as well as your LYNX Fleet account. The following table describes what is needed for each field:

Enter your Client Id.
Client Secret. Enter your Client Secret.
OCP APIM Subscription key. Enter your OCP APIM Subscription key.
Once you have entered valid LYNX Fleet credentials, you can use the same account any time you go to create a new LYNX Fleet DataSet. You can manage Connector accounts in the Accounts tab in the Data Center. For more information about this tab, see Managing User Accounts for Connectors.

Details Pane

This pane contains a primary Reports menu, along with various other menus which may or may not appear depending on the report type you select.

Get List of Assets in a Company Retrieves a list of all Assets currently owned by a Company.
Asset Snapshot Data for Company Retrieves the current snapshot of data for all Assets in a Company.
Company Assets Data By ReadId Retrieves the history of all Assets in a Company since a specific ReadId.
Alarm Data for Company Retrieves the alarm data for all assets in a Company.
