Intro

Retrieves the data from Adobe Customer Journey Analytics and combines it with other data sources to gain insights into customer behavior and optimize your marketing strategies. You can connect to your Adobe Customer Journey Analytics account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the Adobe Customer Journey Analytics connector user interface. Prerequisites

To connect to your Adobe Customer Journey Analytics account and create a DataSet, you need the following:
  • Client ID
  • Client Secret
  • Organization ID

Connecting to Your Adobe Customer Journey Analytics Account

This section enumerates the options in the Credentials and Details panes on the Adobe Customer Journey Analytics Connector page. The components of the other panes on this page, Scheduling, and Name & Describe Your DataSet, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in great detail in Adding a DataSet Using a Connector.

Credentials Pane

This pane contains fields for entering credentials to connect to your Adobe Customer Journey Analytics account. The following table describes what is needed for each field:

Description

Client ID Enter the client ID generated by Adobe when creating a server-to-server integration.
Client Secret Enter the client secret generated by Adobe when creating a server-to-server integration.
Organization ID The Organization ID which can be copied from your CJA API client integration.
Once you have entered valid Adobe Customer Journey Analytics credentials, you can use the same account at any time to create a new Adobe Customer Journey Analytics DataSet. You can manage connector accounts in the Accounts tab in the Data Center. For more information about this tab, see Manage Connector Accounts.

Menu Description
Report Type
Field Description
Include Type Include additional calculated metrics not owned by the user. The All option takes precedence over Shared .
Exclude Formula Definition (checkbox) Select the check box to exclude the formula definition columns from the dataset.
Dataviews Selection Select if you want to retrieve the data for all data views or for only specific ones.
Date Range
Field Description
Update Mode Select the update mode as either Append or Replace.
Date Selection You can either select a single date, date range, or select a time period for which you would like to receive the data.
When you select REPLACE , the selected dates will be used for every run.
When you select APPEND , the selected dates will only be used for the first run. Subsequent runs will only retrieve the data added since the last successful run.

Replace Schema

Select if you want to reset the schema.

Warning: If Adobe Analytics’s API temporarily does not return some fields, this can result in data loss or a change in data type.

Reset Data

Select if you need to reset the data.

Warning: If you have selected to append the data, this can result in loss of data.
