Intro

DataSets can be owned by one or more individuals or by a group. When you add a DataSet to Domo, you are the default owner of that DataSet. For most DataSet types, you can change the owner of a DataSet in its Details view. Notes:
  • If you don’t own a DataSet, you must have an Admin system role or a custom role with the Manage DataSet grant enabled to change its owner. Learn more about system roles.
  • When someone is removed from Domo, their Domo data must be reassigned. See Remove Users from Domo to learn more.
  • Learn how to add connector DataSets to Domo.

Tip: You can transfer ownership of multiple DataSets associated with an account. For more information, see Manage Connector Accounts.

Change Owner for Multiple DataSets

You can change the owner of multiple DataSets at one time, as long as you are reassigning all DataSets to the same owner (individual or group). Follow the steps below:
  1. Go to DataSets in the Data Center.
  2. Hover over one DataSet you want to reassign and select the checkmark. Repeat for as many DataSets as you want to reassign to the same owner.
