Kintone is a no-code enterprise application platform for teams. Use Domo’s Kintone OAuth connector to create reports about Kintone Apps and Kintone App Records. learn more about the Kintone API, see https://kintone.dev/en/docs/kintone/rest-api/. You can connect to your Kintone OAuth account in the Data Center. This article explains the fields and menus that are specific to the Kintone OAuth connector user interface. Prerequisites

To connect to your Kintone OAuth account and create a DataSet, you must have the following:
  • Instance/Domain Name
  • Client ID
  • Client Secret

Creating a Kintone App for OAuth

To create a Kintone App for OAuth, follow the below steps:
  1. Log into the Administration Home page on cybozu.com.
  2. Click OAuth in Integrations.
  3. Click Add OAuth Client.
  4. Enter the application name, and the Redirect Endpoint as https://oauth.domo.com/api/data/v1/oauth/providers/kintone-oauth/exchange.

  1. Save the OAuth App, and open a edit screen of the created App.
  2. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret.

Connecting to Your Kintone OAuth Account

This section lists the options in the Credentials and Details panes in the Kintone OAuth connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, Scheduling and Name & Describe Your DataSet, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in great detail in Adding a DataSet Using a Connector.

Credentials Pane

This pane contains fields for entering credentials to connect to your Kintone OAuth account. The following table describes what is needed for each field:

Description

Instance/Domain Name

Enter your Kintone domain name.

Client ID

Enter your OAuth integration Client ID.

Client Secret

Enter your OAuth integration Client Secret.

Once you have entered valid Kintone OAuth credentials, you can use the same account to create a new Kintone OAuth DataSet. You can manage connector accounts in the Accounts tab in the Data Center. For more information about this tab, see Manage Connector/Adapter Accounts.

Details Pane

This pane contains a primary Reports menu, along with various other menus which may or may not appear depending on the report type you select.

Report

Select the Kintone OAuth report you want to run. The following reports are available:

Report Name Description
All Apps Gets the general information of multiple Apps, including the name, description, related Space, creator and updater information.
All Records of 1 App Retrieves details of all records of an App.
Guest Space ID A Guest Space Id is necessary if your application exists inside a Guest Space.
