App Studio
Custom Navigation
The Custom Navigation styles in App Studio allow you to configure a specific look and feel for your app that aligns with your brand. Top and left orientation are available in the navigation as well as reordering or hiding default navigation buttons. See our App Studio | Overview to learn more.
DomoStats for App Studio
The App Studio Apps and App Studio App Pages DomoStats reports provide insight into how many apps in your instance are locked and the total number of page views. These reports are available for admin users. To see details for each report, see DomoStats Connector.
Duplicate an App
To save you time and effort, you can now duplicate an app in App Studio to retain the structure, design, and configuration of the existing app. Duplicating your app ensures that your app structure stays consistent and that any changes or customizations you make to duplicated apps are relevant to your target audience.
Forms Updates
Updates to Forms allow you to create and modify forms in App Studio and Workflows. The form-building interface is more simple and user-friendly. You can now add and remove questions, change the question types, and save the form, all from inside the form editor. See Forms for more information.
Magic ETL
Concat Distinct
The Group By tile has a new option that allows you to create an aggregate column that includes a comma separated list of distinct values. To learn more about the Group By tile, see Magic ETL Tiles: Aggregate.
ResponsibleGPT App and ResponsibleGPT Insights Dashboard
The ResponsibleGPT app is available for everyone with access to the Domo.AI platform. The app is centered around user-generated prompts and is a secure way to use a chat interface to get advice and help with small tasks. The ResponsibleGPT Insights Dashboard integrates directly with the ResponsibleGPT app to collect data on user interactions, queries, response satisfaction, and engagement metrics. The app presents these metrics using dashboards and reports. You can find both the app and the dashboard in the Domo Appstore

Domo Everywhere
Instance Management
With Instance Management in Domo Everywhere, you can request new instances, add specified Service Account users, and add the correct mapping values for filtering — without having to wait for a Domo rep to manage your instances for you. Publishers can integrate their authentication with the Domo Identity Broker to ensure external users are always sent to their dedicated account. This keeps access to the embedded edit experience safe, secure, and seamless. This feature is available to Domo admins and can be managed from your Domo Everywhere settings. Email Host URL
You can now configure the Email Host URL within the Brand Kit settings to embed content using the Domo platform. After specifying the domain where your Domo platform is embedded, all Domo-generated emails direct to your portal instead of your Domo instance. See Brand Kit for more information.
Cloud Amplifier Enhancements
Use Cloud Amplifier to build custom, high-performance, automated, and bi-directional pipelines catered to your business needs without copying or moving your data. Query and write data to third-party cloud databases using Magic ETL or our Connectors library, and use OAuth for Snowflake and BigQuery. AI Model Management
Domo AI Model Management lets you take advantage of both internal and external models to visualize your data. With AI Models, you can use public models, large language models, and generative AI such as ChatGPT to help accelerate speed to value.
Analyzer Enhancements
Enhancements to the Analyzer interface provide a smoother user experience with smaller screens in mind. Improvements include the following:- Newly refined left rail featuring tabs, slimmer pills, and an improved user interface
- The ability to drag multiple columns into your chart
- Metric columns are now automatically aggregated when moved into tables
- Smarter Summary Numbers that link to default metrics in the chart for a more cohesive analysis
- New chart types search bar
- Editing for calculated fields from the chart axis
Nested Calculations
Users with the Edit Card grant enabled for their role can now access Nested Beast Mode calculations—these allow one calculation to reference another. Any changes made to a referenced calculation are automatically reflected in any calculations that reference it. Nesting is only permitted at one level—a calculation that references a previous calculation cannot be referenced by a subsequent calculation. An accompanying DomoStats report — Beast Modes Used in Beast Modes — enables admins to track how nested calculations are being used in their instance. To learn more, see Nested Calculations.
Chart and Table Fonts
More than 200 charts, maps, and tables now have new font selections in Analyzer. These selections include font family, font sizes, and font attributes. For more information on these font updates, see Properties Available for Most Charts.
Workflows
The following updates are available in workflows:- The Workflows Templates library allows you to review and select a pre-built design and save your configured workflow to your repository.
- You can use and reference the new Person, Group, and DataSets data types throughout Workflows, Code Engine, and Forms.
- The String Builder feature facilitates the seamless injection of text and data values of any type as a combined customized string that can be referenced in any workflow step.
- Optional live updates allow Workflows and Queues home pages to be continually refreshed to display the most current details.
MS Office Add-ins
The new Document Converter allows you to scan your documents from the legacy plugins to find existing Domo objects and easily convert them to new Microsoft Office format. The Document Converter makes it easier to transition to the add-ins without losing content, so you can stay connected and receive the latest updates from our product team. Workbench Enterprise
Workbench Enterprise is a web portal for Workbench job management. Workbench Enterprise still requires an on-premise installation, but this web portal allows for remote access to your on-prem Workbench jobs. Workbench Enterprise is multi-user and multi-platform. Domo. AI Chat
Have a comprehensive conversation with and explore your data using Domo. AI Chat. Ask a question and AI Chat shows you past questions, suggests additional questions, and provides other contextual clues. Domo. AI Chat allows you to go beyond simple natural language query (NLQ) and suggests the best next actions by generating a new visualization, setting an alert, calling an AI model, and other relevant tasks.

Snowflake Integration
ON Property in the Join Data Tile
The new ON property in the Join Data tile gives you the ability to write your own freeform ON clause for joins. This gives you the flexibility to write complex joins, including non-equijoins and ranged joins. For more information on Magic ETL, see our Magic ETL documentation.
Upsert
Upsert in Magic ETL allows you to update the rows in your output DataSet without reprocessing the full DataSet, based on a unique row-level key. When selecting an update method for your DataFlow, you can define an upsert key in the configuration of your output DataSet. During the output step, Domo will check the unique keys resulting from the DataFlow processing - if those keys already exist in the output DataSet, they will be replaced with the updated rows of the same key. Alert to Scheduled Report
Configure scheduled reports on alerts using the new feature in the Alerts menu.
Domo Cleanup for Workflows
The new Domo Cleanup for Workflows feature, powered by DomoStats, identifies unused content and surfaces it on a dashboard. This feature significantly streamlines BI content management and ensures a cleaner and more relevant environment. To ensure that you are cleaning up the correct content, a QuickStart app is available in the Appstore to help you surface the content that needs to be archived.Publish “Read-only” Content
Publish “Read-Only” Content allows you to leverage the Domo Embed engine to publish read-only content to your subscribers. Read-only content does not allow subscriber changes, DataSets powering the content are not copied to the subscriber, and changes are pushed with no refresh required. Dataflow Sharing Modal
The Dataflow Sharing modal allows you to share DataFlows with another user or group from one convenient menu process and shares all the input and output DataSets with the selected users and groups.Need Support?
