Workshop: Using Domo Bricks to Design a Personalized Self-Serve Reporting Portal
If you want to learn how to create a beautiful self-serve reporting portal that engages hundreds of business stakeholders by using nothing more than Domo Bricks and Webforms, then this breakout session is for you. Learn how the UnitedHealth Group People Analytics team built the People Analytics Hub (PAH), which provides a personalized, unified data experience for trustworthy analytics across their entire People organization. At the core of the solution is Domo Bricks. Bricks offer powerful ways to rapidly create personalized, consistent, and streamlined front-end experiences. They allow developers and BI analysts to completely customize the UX/UI, without the setup and granular control required by a professional developer environment. The People Analytics Hub is built on UX best practices and delivers a consistent and cohesive look and feel that can’t be achieved using standard cards and dashboards. Each dashboard is interconnected through customized headers and footers that improve comfortability with the product. The solution is designed to make it easy for the many people at UHG who aren’t fluent in the language of data to answer essential business questions with ease. Along with these innovations, we implemented a product development lifecycle using Domo Sandbox and a dedicated development environment, which enabled us to provide scalable improvements and to deliver certified enhancements to the production environment. In this session you’ll learn: • How to use Domo Bricks and Webforms to build bespoke experiences that engage business users in Domo. • The impact of good design on user adoption and building a data driven culture. • How to use Domo Sandbox to manage and scale the creation of this kind of data experience.
