Dropping the People's Elbow: Empowering New Domo Users with Python Integration
In this session, Korn Ferry, a management consulting firm located in Los Angeles, explores how the Python environment can help users whip their data into shape and join the larger BI ecosystem. The scalable, easy-to-read nature of Python also allows Domo admins to harvest the best functions across ETLs and build a flexible, database-agnostic set of scripts for the full user-base. We can connect these to the broader Domo platform with functionality akin to mini-apps. We review a sample project that 1) enables users to easily configure and run advanced data normalizations in ETL, 2) helps shape and archive that data for card building, and 3) ensures you don’t have to worry about it, no matter how many columns the users add/remove, insane amounts of data they want to hoard, or other wrenches they throw.
