SILICON SLOPES, Utah May 21, 2014Domo, a new software-as-a-service (SaaS) venture redefining the business intelligence (BI) market and transforming the way business is managed, today announced that it has been chosen by AlwaysOn as one of the 2014 OnDemand Top 100 winners. This is the third consecutive year that Domo has received this honor for being one of the most promising private companies in the on-demand, cloud and SaaS categories.

Domo’s inclusion in the OnDemand 100 signifies leadership among its peers and game-changing approaches and technologies that are likely to disrupt existing markets and entrenched players. The company was selected by the AlwaysOn editorial team and by industry experts spanning the globe based on a set of five criteria: innovation, market potential, commercialization, stakeholder value and media buzz.

“This year, the top cloud infrastructure, SaaS, and on-demand software players are making serious inroads into the enterprise and business community. Cloud storage wars and excellent software offerings are making the cloud an even more attractive place to do business. Both business and consumer users are migrating to the cloud in droves, bringing us into a new digital age filled with opportunity,” says Tony Perkins, founder and editor of AlwaysOn. “This year’s OnDemand 100 winners list is jam packed with companies that are using the cloud to create and host imaginative, versatile apps. Mobile, business, consumer — the on-demand universe is propelling the entire Global Silicon Valley into an interdependent, connected and mobile future.”

“It’s been a year of incredible momentum for Domo,” says Chris Harrington, president of Domo. “With more than 500 signed customers and breakthrough sales performance with quarterly sequential growth, we have an exciting glimpse at the enormity of the opportunity ahead of us. Without a doubt, though, the best validation we’ve received thus far has been the direct customer feedback about how Domo is changing the way business is managed.”

In the past quarter, Domo’s customer base grew to include some of the world’s most recognizable names in fashion, consumer packaged goods, retail, media and financial services. New customers are continuing to respond to Domo’s ability to bring together all of the data they care about in one place, in a manner that is truly designed for the business user. Domo also combines, for the first time, technologies and capabilities that deliver an entirely new user experience in enterprise software.

Domo and the OnDemand Top 100 companies will be honored at AlwaysOn’s OnDemand event on June 4 at Draper University in San Mateo, CA. This exclusive event treats attendees to a high-level debate and discourse on top trends and opportunities in the SaaS, cloud, on-demand, and mobile enterprise sectors.  A full list of all the OnDemand 100 winners can be found on the AlwaysOn website: http://aonetwork.com.
