SILICON SLOPES, Utah – April 16, 2014 – Today Domo, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) venture that is redefining business intelligence (BI) and transforming the way business is managed, announced that sales all-star Todd Trippany has joined the company’s enterprise sales team. More than half of Trippany’s 20-year career has been with Omniture, helping data-driven organizations leverage SaaS to get more value from their business data. While at Omniture, he consistently ranked as the company’s number-one or number-two salesperson worldwide in revenue generation.

Most recently, Trippany served as executive vice president of sales and business development at Tinypass, a SaaS-based ecommerce company. Prior to that role, he spent three years as global alliance manager for Adobe Systems’ Omniture business unit. In that position, he helped build the company’s global partner sales organization, working in direct sales with top agencies and building out revenue programs for agency partners. Trippany served for seven years as a senior account executive for Omniture before taking on the role as global alliance manager.

“Over my career, I’ve worked with many large data-driven organizations, particularly research and data companies, and regardless of role or industry, everyone is struggling with the same problem — how to get value from the avalanche of data that exists about their business,” said Trippany. “Domo is game-changing in the way it gives CXOs and business managers a holistic view of their organization, allowing them to make actionable decisions to move their business forward.”

Domo, following its recent $125 million funding round, has been doubling its sales team to meet demand. It has amassed more than 500 customers, including some of the world’s most recognizable brands in fashion, consumer packaged goods, retail, media and financial services.

“Todd is a huge win for us and the organizations we serve,” said Chris Harrington, Domo president. “He truly listens to and addresses the needs of customers, and he is a great example of how a sales-driven professional who puts customers first always wins.”

Trippany added, “To me, one of the most compelling things about Domo is the management team—the people I know from Omniture and the new talent that has joined. Domo is poised to blow the doors off of a massive opportunity. Domo feels like Omniture did in 2004. It has an enterprise-ready product that can beat anything. I’m truly excited to be part of it all.”
