Want to build an AI agent? Here's how to do it in Domo. No coding, no technical setup. Domo is where all your business data already lives, connected from hundreds of sources, transformed and governed. That means when you build an AI agent, it already has access to everything it needs. Let's build one right now.

First, open your agent library. This is where all your organization's agents live. Click "build agent" to start a new one. Give it a name that describes what it does and write a short description. Think of it like a job title and job description for your agent.

Next, add toolkits. These are the abilities your agent gets, like searching across your datasets, creating charts on the fly, or triggering automated workflows. Just check the ones you want and hit continue.

Now, add knowledge. This is where you point your agent to the specific datasets, documents, or knowledge bases it should pull from when answering questions. The more context you give it, the better its answers will be.

Then, set up the chat experience. Write a welcome message that tells people what your agent can help with and add conversation starters. These are example questions that show up when someone opens the chat for the first time. Finally, pick a visual theme and hit save.

That's it. Your agent is live and ready to use. Watch what happens when you ask it a question. It pulls directly from your data, runs through the steps, and gives you a real sourced answer. Start using AI in Domo today.

See how to build an AI agent in Domo, from naming the agent to launching it across the business.

This walkthrough follows the three steps every intelligent enterprise needs to make AI useful in production.

First, build the data foundation by connecting the agent to governed business data.Second, activate that data by configuring the agent with the context, instructions, tools, and workflows it needs to answer questions and take action.

Third, distribute the agent securely to the right audience so employees, teams, or customers can use it where work happens.

Domo brings these steps together in one governed platform, helping companies move from AI experiments to AI-powered apps and agents that can actually run inside the business.

Domo is the agentic platform for the intelligent enterprise.
