Intro

Mongoose Metrics exposes what happens before, during and after telephone conversations to assist clients with actionable data for quick and effective marketing spending. To learn more about the Mongoose Metrics API, visit their page (http://calltrackingportal.com/innovations-api.php ). You connect to your Mongoose Metrics account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the Mongoose Metrics connector user interface. General information for adding DataSets, setting update schedules, and editing DataSet information is discussed in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.

Prerequisites

To connect to your Mongoose Metrics account and create a DataSet, you must have the following:
  • Your Mongoose Metrics username
  • A Mongoose Metrics API key
Note: The API key you generate from Mongoose Metrics is for version 2 of the API. If you want to generate an API key that is compatible with version 1 of the API, you will need to reach out to your Mongoose Metrics support agent.

Connecting to Your Mongoose Metrics Account

This section enumerates the options in the Credentials and Details panes in the Mongoose Metrics Connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, Scheduling and Name & Describe Your DataSet, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in greater length in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.

Credentials Pane

This pane contains fields for entering credentials to connect to your Mongoose Metrics account. The following table describes what is needed for each field:

Description

Username Enter your Mongoose Metrics username.
API Key Enter your Mongoose Metrics API key. For information about enabling API access and obtaining a key, see https://support.mongooseportal.com/h…ing-API-Access .
Once you have entered valid Mongoose Metrics credentials, you can use the same account any time you go to create a new Mongoose Metrics DataSet. You can manage connector accounts in the Accounts tab in the Data Center. For more information about this tab, see Managing User Accounts for Connectors.

Details Pane

This pane contains a primary Reports menu, along with various other menus which may or may not appear depending on the report type you select.

Report

Select the Mongoose Metrics report you want to run. The following reports are available:

Get Fulfilled

Returns data about fulfilled requests.

Customer Report

Returns customer data.

Start Date

Select the start date for your report from the date picker.

End Date

Select the end date for your report from the date picker.
