Intro

Fluxx is a network that powers giving in the world by connecting givers and change-makers. To learn more about Fluxx, visit their page (https://www.fluxx.io/resource-center ). You connect to your Fluxx account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the Fluxx connector user interface. General information for adding DataSets, setting update schedules, and editing DataSet information is discussed in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.

Prerequisites

To connect to your Fluxx account and create a DataSet, you must have the following:
  • The URL of your Fluxx instance
  • Your Fluxx client ID
  • Your Fluxx client secret
To obtain your credentials, reach out to your Fluxx account representative.

Connecting to Your Fluxx Account

This section enumerates the options in the Credentials and Details panes on the Fluxx Connector page. The components of the other panes on this page, Scheduling, and Name & Describe Your DataSet, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in greater length in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.

Credentials Pane

This pane contains fields for entering credentials to connect to your Fluxx account. The following table describes what is needed for each field:

Description

URL

Enter the URL of your Fluxx instance.

Client ID

Enter your Fluxx client ID.

Client Secret

Enter your Fluxx client secret.

Once you have entered valid Fluxx credentials, you can use the same account any time you go to create a new Fluxx DataSet. You can manage connector accounts in the Accounts tab in the Data Center. For more information about this tab, see Managing User Accounts for Connectors.

Details Pane

This pane contains a primary Reports menu, along with various other menus which may or may not appear depending on the report type you select.

Select the Fluxx report you want to run. The following reports are available:

Annual Overview Report Gets information about the annual overview.
Applications Report Retrieves the records that identify requests and grants.
Competitions Report Gets information about the competitions.
Dip Strategies Report Gets information about the DIP strategies.
External Funding Sources Report Gets information about the external funding sources.
Funding Source Allocation Report Gets information about the funding source allocation.
Grant Data Archive Get information about Grant Data Archives.
Grantee Report Retrieves the data related to requests.
HPIP Projects Gets information about the HPIP projects.
Internal Review Report Gets information about the internal reviews.
Investigators Report Gets information about the investigators.
Meetings And Site Visits Gets information about the meetings and site visits.
Model Theme Report Retrieves model theme data records.
Organization Report Retrieves the records that identify organizations.
Payments Report Retrieves the payments for all the requests.
People Report Retrieves the records that identify users.
Registration Report Retrieves the data related to the letter of inquiry.
Report Review Report Gest information about the report reviews.
Request Funding Source Report Gets information about the requested funding source.
Request Review Report Gets information about the request reviews.
Request Transaction Funding Source Report Gets information about the request transaction funding sources.
Tournament Budget Report Gets information about the tournament budget.
Union Investment Questionnaire Report Gets information about the union investment questionnaire.
User Organization Report Gets information about the user organizations.

Enter the search term you want to filter your report by.

Style

Select the desired style for your search results.

Include Date Filter?

Allows you to filter your report by date.

Dates

Select the date range for your report.
