Only one weekend left until Domopalooza 2018. Have you started packing?
If you’re like the author of this blog post, you’ll cram a few handfuls of clothing into a tote bag last-minute next week. But if you’re a more organized individual, you’ve probably already started thinking about what to pack.
Domopalooza is anything but an average business conference. While you should come prepared with the standard business casual attire for 3-4 days of sessions and networking, there are a few other more unusual clothing items you’ll want to be ready with.
Bring some casual clothing for attending the parties Domopalooza is known for — whatever you feel most comfortable in. If you’re planning on attending the ski day on Friday, don’t forget your ski clothing — layers, mid layers, gloves, hat, and your favorite pair of goggles. No need to lug your skis or board along with you, though; rentals will be covered by your Domopalooza pass.
The forecast for Salt Lake City next week is currently pretty temperate (for us, anyway), with highs around 60 and lows around 40. Utah weather can be unpredictable, so it might be good to bring a lightweight, waterproof jacket along with you in case the random blizzard decides to blow through (which it sometimes does).
Domopalooza is an indoor conference, but if you should choose to visit the beautiful City Creek Mall nearby, or stop by one of Salt Lake’s delicious restaurants, you might need some outerwear.
Beyond clothing, don’t forget to bring chargers for every piece of your gear.
So, to wrap up-for Domopalooza 2018, you’ll need:
- Several business casual outfits.
- Some more comfortable clothing for attending concerts and parties.
- Your snow gear.
- A lightweight jacket.
- Chargers.
Can’t wait to see you there!
