SILICON SLOPES, Utah – Sept 18, 2014 – Domo, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) venture started by Omniture co-founder and former CEO Josh James to redefine the business intelligence (BI) market, today announced the addition of Daniel E. Stevenson as general counsel. Stevenson joined Domo on September 1, making him the third strategic addition to Domo’s management team in less than three weeks.

Stevenson has worked closely with technology and emerging growth companies his entire career. He joins Domo from Fusion-io where he was general counsel and secretary. At Fusion-io, he was instrumental in its $270M IPO on the NYSE and its $1.3B sale to SanDisk Corporation. Before transitioning to an in-house advisor, Stevenson was an attorney at Silicon Valley-based Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he specialized in technology transactions and intellectual property.

Dan has been admitted to the bar in Texas, Washington and Utah, and has been professionally recognized as a “Texas Rising Star,” a “Washington Rising Star,” and a member of Utah’s “Legal Elite.” He graduated cum laude from BYU’s J. Reuben Clark Law School after majoring in Spanish and minoring in philosophy as a BYU undergraduate.

“We’ve been fortunate to recruit the best and the brightest to Domo and Dan is clearly part of that class,” said Josh James, Domo founder and CEO. “He has a tremendous track record leading all legal aspects of fast-growth businesses. As we continue to expand our footprint, his experience will further enable us to move as swiftly and intelligently as possible. I’m thrilled to welcome him to the team.”

“There are very few opportunities today where you have a chance to be part of something that has the potential to truly transform the industry,” said Stevenson. “Domo is already transforming the way customers do business and I’m excited to be part of the team that will help Domo maximize the tremendous opportunity ahead.”

As part of its triple play bringing on three strategic hires in three weeks, Domo recently announced the addition of Bruce Felt, former SuccessFactors executive, as CFO, and the addition of Paul Weiskopf, former Adobe and HP strategist, to its management team.

Domo also announced another outstanding sales performance with more than 600 enterprise customers, more than 40 percent sequential quarterly growth and annual growth that far exceeds 100 percent.

James added, “Our team has made significant accomplishments in a very short amount of time. We’re about to crank the dial to 11. Things are about to get very interesting.”
