SILICON SLOPES, UTAH July 18, 2014 — Domo, a software-as-a-service venture redefining the business intelligence market and transforming the way business is managed, today announced that it has been named an AlwaysOn Global 250 winner. This is the third consecutive year that Domo has been chosen for this honor.

Inclusion in the AlwaysOn Global 250 signifies leadership amongst peers and game-changing approaches and technologies that are likely to disrupt existing markets and entrenched players in the Global Silicon Valley. Domo was specially selected based on a set of five criteria: innovation, market potential, commercialization, stakeholder value and media buzz.

Domo and the AlwaysOn Global 250 companies will be honored at AlwaysOn’s 12th annual Innovation Summit at the Computer History Museum July 29-30, 2014. Domo founder and CEO Josh James and Zetta Venture Partners’ Mark Gorenberg will help kick off the Summit with a conversation about the current state of the big data and the analytics boom. Gorenberg was an early investor in Domo and also in Omniture, the web-analytics powerhouse James co-founded in 1996, took public in 2006 and sold to Adobe for $1.8B in 2009.

“As the expansion of the mobile and cloud markets continue, the companies on this year’s AlwaysOn Global 250 are racing to provide business and consumer users with the best products and services,” says Tony Perkins, founder and editor of AlwaysOn. “The Global Silicon Valley is responding to shifting user patterns, as the desktop gives way to mobile devices.  Business users are demanding seamless anytime, anywhere access to their information — while consumers continue to ride the bleeding edge, creating and using the most powerful media applications technology has to offer.  More legacy industries are being redefined by the innovation community, making the companies on this year’s AlwaysOn Global 250 the highest-growth opportunities in today’s private company marketplace.”

The AlwaysOn Global 250 winners were selected from among thousands of domestic and international technology companies nominated by investors, bankers, journalists, and industry insiders. The AlwaysOn editorial team conducted a rigorous three-month selection process to finalize the 2014 list.
